Cookie policy

A single session cookie is set when you sign in. It contains a random token — not your identity — and lets the server recognise your session. It is removed when you sign out.

A preference cookie remembers the language you chose so you are not sent back to English on every visit.

These cookies are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.

Our page-view statistics do not use a cookie at all. Each event is recorded against a salted hash that rotates every day, which means we can count visits without being able to identify or follow anyone.

We set no advertising cookies and run no third-party trackers on this site.

Every browser lets you view and delete cookies. Removing the session cookie signs you out; removing the language cookie resets your language preference.
